Kerri Friel

Data Systems Manager, The Commission On Dental Competency Assessments at The CDCA-WREB-CITA

Kerri Friel is an experienced educator and dental professional currently serving as a member of the Dental Assisting National Board and chair of both the Candidate and Certificant Services Committee and Exam Programs Committee. Since 1999, Kerri has held various roles at the Community College of Rhode Island, including Director of the Dental Assisting Program and Professor, while also contributing as President and Vice-Chair of the Faculty Senate. Additional roles include membership on the Board of Directors for the Dental Lifeline Network and adjunct professorship at Rhode Island College. Kerri's background includes managing data systems and examining dental hygiene certification at the Commission on Dental Competency Assessments, alongside previous experience on the Board of Examiners in Dentistry for the Rhode Island Department of Health. Kerri holds a Certificate in Leadership from Leadership Rhode Island and both a Master’s in Adult Education and a Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from the University of Rhode Island.
