Chris Block is the Founder and CEO of Yachtcations, Inc., established in 2010 as a specialty travel agent focused on yacht vacations, particularly in Caribbean destinations. In addition to leading Yachtcations, Chris serves as a Yacht and Ship Broker for The Catamaran Company since 2018. Previous experience includes roles such as Director of Supply Chain and Logistics at EthosEnergy and Engineering Manager at Pentair Thermal Management, managing extensive logistics and procurement operations. Chris also has a background in charter operations, having served as Charter Captain and Director of Operations at The Moorings Yacht Charters and held various positions at Festiva Sailing Vacations, Benchmark Electronics, Flex, Velocity Electronics, and as the Founder of Block Trading. Chris holds an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business, a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, and a MOY 200T Offshore Yacht Captain certification from International Yachtmaster Training.
