Nathan S. Catlin is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Michigan State University since January 2021. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Florida from August 2014 to December 2020, where they studied alternative splicing in rice and its wild relatives. Nathan also holds a Ph.D. in Genome Sciences/Genomics from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University at Buffalo. Currently, they are an Instructor at The Carpentries, teaching computational skills to the scientific community.
