Morteza M. Waskasi is a Senior Data Scientist and Computational Scientist with experience in research and early development at Roche. Morteza is also a Software Carpentry Instructor at The Carpentries, teaching Python, shell, Git, and software engineering skills to various professionals. Morteza previously worked as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University, where Morteza developed molecular dynamic/quantum mechanic methodology and taught undergraduate students in Chemistry and Biochemistry. With a background in Physical Chemistry, Morteza has also conducted research on drug delivery and enhancing water splitting efficiency at various institutions.
