Robert Miles, Jr has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the field of technology and facilities management. Robert currently serves as the Director of Technology and Facilities at The Carey School, where they are responsible for overseeing all IT functions and physical plant operations. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Technology at Milken Community Schools, where they provided leadership and vision to the school's information technology infrastructure. Robert also served as the Associate Director of Technology at Milken Community Schools, where they were responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the technology department. Before that, Robert held the position of IT Manager, NA and EMEA at Orion Health, where they managed the North America IT Services Unit. Robert began their career as the Computer Resource Manager at UCLA Office of Instructional Development and later worked as a Network Administrator at Merrill Legal Solutions.

Robert Miles, Jr has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Information Systems. Robert first attended California State University, Los Angeles from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on Computer Information Systems. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2003, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Information Systems.

In 2008, Robert Miles, Jr decided to expand their knowledge beyond the realm of technology and enrolled at California State University, Long Beach. Robert completed a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Sports Management in 2009, demonstrating their versatility and interest in other areas of study.

Additionally, Robert has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2017, they became a Certified Casper Technician, receiving the certification from Jamf.
