Laura Yvonne Bulk is an accomplished professional in the field of occupational therapy with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Diversity Vice President (alternate) for the Canadian Union of Public Employees British Columbia and an Accessibility Advisor at The University of British Columbia since 2014, Laura collaborates with students to enhance accessibility in educational settings. As Co-Chair of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) network, Laura drives initiatives to ensure equitable access to occupational therapy services for Canadians with vision loss. Additionally, Laura provides community-based occupational therapy consultation through Sahara Rehab Consulting Ltd. and has completed multiple clinical placements in diverse healthcare settings. Laura holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from The University of British Columbia and possesses a comprehensive educational background, including a Master of Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Social Work.
