Mary Dobson, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at The California Endowment since July 2017, having previously held the position of Senior Financial Analyst. Prior to this role, Mary accumulated experience as a Budget Analyst for the Survey Research Group at RAND Corporation from September 2014 to July 2017 and worked as a Financial Analyst at the University of Virginia's Pharmacy from May 2013 to August 2014. Additional roles include Financial Analyst at Teachstone, Accountant/Investment Accountant at UVIMCO, and Audit Associate at RSM US LLP. Mary began their career as an Accounting Intern at Maymont. Mary earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 2007.
