Kate Belmont Hastings is a highly experienced principal consultant and policy expert with a robust background in public health, environmental health, and building science. Currently, Kate leads Kate Hastings Consulting, LLC while also serving as a senior technical advisor for the National Center for Healthy Housing. In earlier roles, Kate has contributed to significant projects at The Cadmus Group, focusing on social determinants of health and energy efficiency, and at Scientific Consulting Group, where Kate evaluated interagency strategies for lung cancer. Kate's academic credentials include a BA magna cum laude from Bowdoin College and advanced studies in political science at the University of Notre Dame, where notable research contributions were made.
