Michael Gilbertson is an experienced project manager with a strong background in the construction and design sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at The Building Intelligence Group since January 2020, Michael oversees independent project management and advisory services. Previously, Michael held the position of Project Manager at Cequent Projects, managing diverse projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $50 million between June 2016 and September 2019. Prior roles include Assistant Project Manager at Arrow International (NZ) Limited, where engagement in the $3.5 billion Southern Response earthquake programme took place, and various positions in architectural drafting and design. Michael holds a Bachelor of Building Science with a focus on Project Management from Victoria University of Wellington and relevant diplomas and certificates from Eastern Institute of Technology in architectural design and CAD drafting.
