Tom Wiley has extensive work experience in the media industry. Tom currently serves as the Publisher and President of The Buffalo News since May 2020. Prior to this, they were the President and Publisher of the Wisconsin State Journal from October 2018 to May 2020. Tom also worked as a Partner at Twin Fortress Enterprises from October 2015 to December 2018. In addition, they held various roles at Lee Enterprises, The Hartford Courant, Digital First Media, The New Haven Register, 21st Century Media, Suburban Journals, and STL Distribution Services LLC. Notably, they have served in executive positions such as Executive Vice President Sales at Digital First Media and President at STL Distribution Services LLC.

Tom Wiley attended East Lansing High School from 1982 to 1986. Tom then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising at Michigan State University from 1989 to 1992.
