Akhilesh Ramakrishnan is an experienced energy professional currently serving as a Managing Energy Associate at The Brattle Group since September 2021, where previous roles included Senior Energy Associate and Associate. Prior to this, Akhilesh worked at Exelon from June 2017 to September 2021 as a Senior Quantitative Analyst, focusing on strategy and policy developments related to energy transition, with an emphasis on electrification, distributed energy resources, and decarbonization pathways. Earlier experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Sustainable Engineering Lab at Columbia University, where research centered on battery usage for energy management in commercial buildings, and internships at IBM and Alstom Grid. Akhilesh holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
