Arturo Acevedo, Ed.D., is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching Spanish and conducting educational research. Currently serving as a Spanish Teacher at The Branson School since August 2020, Arturo previously held roles such as a researcher at NYC Men Teach and a teacher at LREI, where responsibilities included teaching Spanish and facilitating Latino literature and history courses. Additional experience includes conducting research and teaching assistance roles at Loyola Marymount University, along with teaching positions in the New York City Department of Education and Miami Dade Public County Schools. Arturo holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University and has a strong focus on bilingual and bicultural education, demonstrated through multiple degrees from prestigious institutions.
