Olga Lepotlako has extensive experience in microbiology and compliance within the laboratory services sector, currently serving as the Acting Executive Manager Compliance at Botswana Meat Commission since December 2013. Key achievements include the establishment of the Laboratory Management System in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005, the accreditation of the main laboratory in Lobatse along with the satellite laboratories in Maun and Francistown, and significant contributions to the implementation of various ISO standards. Prior to this, Olga worked as a Scientist in Microbiology at Botswana Bureau of Standards, where testing methods were introduced and staff were trained. Additionally, an earlier role at Botswana National Veterinary Laboratory involved hygiene analysis and method validation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Microbiology from the University of Botswana and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology from Moeding College.
