Thomas Yin has a diverse work experience. Thomas started their career as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the Town of Whitby from September 2015 to August 2017. In 2019, they worked as a Project Management Intern at ENERCON Canada Inc. From 2018 to 2022, Thomas was involved with McGill Formula Electric (MFE), where they held positions of increasing responsibility, starting as an Aerodynamics Subsystem Member and later becoming the Aerodynamics Subsystem Lead. At McGill University, they worked as a Civil Engineering Research Assistant for a brief period from May 2021 to August 2021. Currently, they are engaged with The Boring Company as an Associate Mechanical Engineer and will transition to the role of Mechanical Engineer in January 2023.

Thomas Yin attended McGill University from 2017 to 2022. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
