Nic Black is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the industrial gases and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Commercial and General Manager for Industrial NSW at BOC South Pacific since February 2019, Nic Black oversees the profit performance of the industrial gases business, managing a workforce of over 200 employees and contractors. Previous roles at BOC include General Manager for Customer Engineering Services and various management positions, including Market Manager for Chemicals & Energy and Bulk Product & Merchant Investment Manager. Prior to rejoining BOC, Nic Black held the position of General Manager Strategy & Development at Elgas Limited, focusing on strategic initiatives and competitive advantage. Nic Black's career began in the UK where multiple sales, logistics, and engineering roles were undertaken. Educational qualifications include the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
