James (Jimbo) Heiner has garnered diverse experience in the film and culinary industries, currently serving as a Cook at New Seasons Market since August 2021. With a solid background in film, James has been a Script Reader for The Black List since October 2017 and held various assistant roles at Genrebend Productions, Beacon Pictures, and Frontline Management between 2015 and 2021. Additionally, James coordinated the Los Angeles Film Festival for Film Independent in 2018. Academic achievements include an MFA in Cinema Directing from Columbia College Chicago and a BA in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Utah.
