Dr. Mandy Beaumont is an accomplished writer and academic with extensive experience in creative writing, journalism, and content leadership. Currently serving as a writer for Hachette Australia Books since January 2020, Dr. Beaumont's notable works include "The Furies" (2022) and "Wild, Fearless Chests" (2020), with a forthcoming title "The Thrill of It" slated for release in 2025. Additionally, Dr. Beaumont contributes as a journalist and book reviewer for The Big Issue and has held various academic roles, including Convenor and Lecturer in Creative Writing and Communications at Griffith University, where engagement continued until June 2024. Recent experience includes a position as Editorial Content Lead at Canstar and Communications Coordinator at Community Foundations Australia. Dr. Beaumont's educational background features a Doctor of Philosophy from RMIT University focused on feminist philosophical fiction, along with degrees from QUT in Creative Writing and Social Science.
