Hanshu Ding

Principal Scientist, Team Leader at The Better Meat Co.

Hanshu Ding has worked in the scientific field since 2000. Hanshu began as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of California, Davis in 2000. In 2001, they joined Novozymes, Inc. as a Senior Scientist/ Project Leader, Protein Chemistry. During their time at Novozymes, they also held the roles of Sr Scientist, Artificial Evolution and Scientist, Protein Chemistry. In 2021, they moved to Nature's Fynd as a Principal Scientist, and in 2023 they became a Principal Scientist, Team Leader at The Better Meat Co.

Hanshu Ding received a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jiangnan University between 1987 and 1991. Hanshu then went on to receive a Master's degree in Food Science and Technology from Jiangnan University between 1991 and 1994. Finally, they earned a Ph.D. in Food Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis between 1994 and 2000.
