Rus Bel is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and business IT support. Since July 2008, Rus has served as the Owner and Speaker on Cybersecurity at The Best Geeks, focusing on implementing cybersecurity plans for small businesses. Prior to this, from June 2004 to June 2008, Rus owned a franchise in North Houston, offering IT support while fulfilling various roles, including technician and HR. Earlier career highlights include project management at EF Educational Tours, systems integration at marchFIRST, and consulting work at Amdahl Corporation, where Rus contributed to web hosting solutions and datacenter management. Rus began a career in software engineering with TRW and VM Software Incorporated following an AAS in Computer Science from Central Texas College.
