Kristen Sheehan, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Head of School and Head of Lower School at The Benjamin School, a position held since 2007, and also works as an Adjunct Professor at both Nova Southeastern University and Palm Beach Atlantic University since 2019 and 2018, respectively. Kristen's extensive experience in education includes previous roles as Curriculum Coordinator and Lead Teacher at The Benjamin School, as well as Lead Teacher positions at All Saints Catholic School, Palm Beach County School District, DeKalb School District #428, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Kristen was a Fellow in the Aspiring Heads of School program with the National Association of Independent Schools from 2018 to 2019, and served as the Elementary Representative at Large on the Executive Committee of the National Council of Teachers of English from 2015 to 2017.
