Moira Brazil currently serves as the South London Regional Interest Group Convenor for the National Association for Language Development in the Curriculum (NALDIC) since September 2019, facilitating a termly forum for professionals working with multilingual learners across Greater London and the South West home counties. Additionally, since January 2019, Moira works as a Bell Foundation Licensed Practitioner at the Centre of Excellence for EAL at the University of Roehampton, providing consultancy on needs analysis, action planning, and continuing professional development for schools and settings supporting English as an additional language learners. Moira's previous experience includes consultancy roles for the Language Development Service in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and the London Challenge, where support was given to schools with high populations of multilingual students. Moira holds an M.A. in Language Ethnicity and Education from King's College London, a B.A. in In-service Education from York University, an Ontario Teachers' Certificate from the University of Toronto, and a B.A. in French Studies from Université Laval.
