Katie Elder is an experienced educator in the hair and beauty sector, currently serving as a Teacher of Hair and Beauty at The Basildon Academies since December 2019. Previously, Katie taught salon services at William De Ferrers School and served as a stylist at Shapers from March 2015 to December 2019. Additionally, Katie held the role of Training Coordinator at JET Academy, where responsibilities included delivering theoretical and practical training to both college-based and salon students. Katie's career in education began as a Tutor/Assessor at Central Training Group from January 2009 to October 2015. Educational qualifications include a degree in Teaching and Learning from South Essex College (2019-2021), BSL Level 3 and Level 2 from Havering College, and an Advanced GNVQ in Health and Social Care from Chalvedon School and Sixth Form.
