Sunny Virk has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Currently, they are the Head of Credit Hire & PI Fraud (Defendant Insurance Group) at The Barrister Group. Sunny has been with The Barrister Group since January 2015, holding various roles such as Head of Defendant Credit Hire & PI Fraud and Head of Credit Hire (Defendant Insurance Group). In these roles, they have achieved a 100% success rate in mediated settlements and has handled a wide range of disputes including building and construction disputes, medical negligence and personal injury cases, business and commercial claims, and more. Prior to joining The Barrister Group, Sunny worked as a Barrister and Mediator at Cornwall Street Chambers and 6 Kings Bench Walk, London. Sunny has also worked as a Third Six Barrister at 2 Kings Bench Walk and as a Solicitor Advocate at Brindley Twist Tafft and James Solicitors. Before entering the legal profession, they gained experience as a Paralegal at Murria Solicitors and as an Intern at BP. Sunny Virk has a strong academic and technical understanding of the law and is known for their intricate preparation, confident representation, and commitment to every case.

Sunny Virk completed a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honors at London Guildhall University from 1999 to 2003. Sunny then pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Professional and Legal Skills at City, University of London for the year 2003-2004. Additionally, during the same period, they attended the Inns of Court School of Law in London and obtained a Bar Vocational Course (BVC) or Bar Finals qualification. All of their education history is focused on the field of law.
