Janine Frederick is an experienced civil and commercial barrister, currently serving at The Barrister Group since December 2021. Additionally, Janine is the Director and Notary Public at Frederick Barton Notary Ltd since November 2019 and has been a Board Member of the Makeda Foundation since October 2020. Prior to these roles, Janine held the position of Chief Compliance Officer and Managing Director at Sculptor Capital Management from September 2019 to April 2021, as well as at Och-Ziff Capital Management from October 2010 to September 2019, where responsibilities included membership on the Executive Committee and acting as Company Secretary. Janine's compliance career includes roles at Goldman Sachs, Fidelity International, and Crown Agents Investment Management, beginning with a focus on settlements. Janine's academic credentials include a Notarial Practice Course from UCL, a Bar Professional Training Course from the Inner Temple, and an LLB from BPP Law School, alongside an MBA from Huron University and a BSc in Pure Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London.
