Malika Malik, DDS, is currently a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory Fitness and a PhD Candidate and Dental Student at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. With a background in fitness, Malika serves as both a Barre Instructor at The Barre Code and a Fitness Instructor at Societe Indoor Cycling. Prior experience includes working as a Peer Advisor for the University of Michigan Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, where responsibilities included recruiting and advising students, and serving as a liaison between student researchers and faculty mentors. Malika's research background includes roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Shikanov Lab and as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sao Paulo. Malika holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, a Doctor of Dental Surgery, and is pursuing both a PhD in Oral Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Michigan.
