Ilana Dean is an accomplished Major Gifts Officer at the Barnes Foundation since April 2023, specializing in donor cultivation and strategy implementation for major gift fundraising. As a Co-Founder of Schmidt Dean Gallery LLC, established in 1988, Ilana has helped showcase a diverse array of museum-quality art. With extensive experience in the real estate sector as a Realtor with Compass and a Real Estate Agent with VERY Real Estate, Ilana has played a role in reshaping residential real estate. Prior positions include consulting for the Venture Philanthropy Partnership and serving as Major Gifts Officer at the National Museum of American Jewish History and Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia, where Ilana coordinated major gift solicitations. Ilana also held the role of Director of Major Leadership Gifts at JEVS and Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations at the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, where contributions led to significant grant development.
