Prior to this role, Kimi Yoshino had an extensive tenure at the Los Angeles Times from September 2000 to November 2021, where responsibilities included Managing Editor, Deputy Managing Editor, Business Editor, Assistant Metro Editor, and Reporter. Earlier in Kimi Yoshino's career, reporting roles were held at The Fresno Bee from 1998 to 2000 and The Stockton Record from 1994 to 1997.
