Simon Russell is an experienced industrial officer currently working at The Australian Workers' Union since February 2023. Prior to this role, Simon served as an industrial officer at the Transport Workers' Union (SA/NT Branch) from April 2021 to October 2022. Simon's career began in performance management at Dynamic Creative Pty Ltd from January 2020 to April 2021, and included a position as a content marketer at PickStar in late 2019. Simon also studied at the University of Essex as a student from January to June 2019 and completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Journalism and Professional Writing at the University of South Australia between 2015 and 2019. Simon's foundational education was completed at St Peter's College from 2009 to 2013.
