Angela North is an experienced Principal Consultant Psychologist at bestchance Child Family Care since January 2017, specializing in providing trauma-informed support within a school setting for children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Angela also contributes as a psychologist and content writer for the Australian Psychological Society, collaborating with experts to develop evidence-based training modules on various mental health topics. With a comprehensive background in play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, Angela has engaged in public speaking and supervision of mental health professionals since establishing Angela North Psychology in 2011. Previous roles include school psychologist positions, program management for adolescent mental health services, and therapeutic support for individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. Angela holds a GradDip in Applied Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Swinburne University of Technology, along with an Advanced Clinical Certificate in Play Therapy.
