Jacqueline Pienaar has a diverse work experience in the field of global health and HIV/AIDS prevention. Jacqueline is currently serving as the Chief of Party at Project Last Mile since September 2022. Previously, they held the position of Principal Investigator/Global Health Specialist at The Aurum Institute from November 2021. Jacqueline is also the Director/Founder of S'Khokho Community Health since 2010. Jacqueline has served as the Chief Executive Officer at CHAPS - The Centre for HIV and AIDS Prevention Studies from January 2019 to November 2021. Prior to that, they were the Technical Director at Aurum Health Institute from February 2017 to November 2021. Jacqueline also worked as a Technical Advisor at the World Health Organization from April 2015 to September 2019. Jacqueline Pienaar's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Zoology and Psychology. Jacqueline completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. In the following year, from 2002 to 2003, they attended the University of Natal to obtain a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Zoology and Psychology.

Lastly, in 2020, Jacqueline attended the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for a brief period to study strategic management. The field of study for this program was not specified.
