Taylor Goelz is a seasoned professional in marine policy and environmental science. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager for Ocean and Climate at The Aspen Institute and as Secretary for the Zero Emission Maritime Buyers Alliance, Taylor also hosts The Ocean Decade Show on Coastal News Today, providing insights on the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. Previous experience includes serving as Knauss Marine Policy Fellow at NOAA, where Taylor led program development for the UN Ocean Decade, and as a Research Associate at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science focusing on social network analysis in oyster restoration projects. Taylor holds dual Master’s degrees in Public Policy and Marine Sciences from William & Mary and the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego.
