Sruthi Chandrasekaran has a diverse work experience in the field of research and data analysis. Sruthi is currently employed as the Director of Data and Research at The Asian American Foundation since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Associate Research Scientist and Senior Project Manager at Ibis Reproductive Health from 2017 to 2021. Sruthi also served as a Research Specialist at the Department for International Development from 2016 to 2017, and as a Research Associate at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation from 2015 to 2016. In addition, Sruthi has held roles as an Advocacy and Programs Coordinator at Marie Stopes International, a Senior Research Associate at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), an Academic Consultant at The Hunting Dynasty, a Project Researcher at Kenya Education Partnerships, and a Student Consultant at Oxford Student Consultancy. Their expertise and experience in research and data analysis make their a valuable asset in various professional settings.
Sruthi Chandrasekaran completed their Masters in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, from 2006 to 2011. Sruthi then pursued an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford in 2011 to 2012.
