Caroline Cabaniss is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Triangle Disability & Autism Services since November 2023, where responsibilities include facilitating community involvement and independence for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to this role, Caroline is an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Cassidy Plasticity Laboratory at the UNC School of Medicine, assisting with data collection and participant safety in a study on corticomuscular coherence following stroke. Previous experience includes volunteering in occupational therapy at Durham VA Medical Center, where knowledge of therapeutic techniques was gained, serving as a server at Leesville Tap Room, and working with children with autism spectrum disorder at EMERGE Pediatric Therapy. Caroline is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in 2025.
