Gordon Comfort is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the American Kennel Club since September 2024, Gordon previously held the same title at ACCEL from March 2019 to September 2024, and worked as Managing Director at Vseed Capital from April 2018 to September 2024, focusing on minimizing investor risk while maximizing profit potential. Gordon founded Gordon Comfort Enterprises, LLC, providing coaching and consultative services from January 2016 to March 2019, and led Voltage Partners, Inc. as President/CEO from November 2015 to November 2017. A former CEO of Goodwill Industries of the Columbia, Gordon directed fiscal and operational leadership from June 2011 to December 2015, and revitalized school performance as High School Principal at Richland School District from June 2007 to June 2011 after serving as Assistant Principal at Kentlake High School from July 2004 to June 2007. Gordon earned a Master's degree from Harvard University in 2001.
