James Jackson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. James worked at The Alta Group from 2016 to present, initially as the Managing Director, Merger and Acquisition Advisory Practice Leader and later as the Co-Chief Executive Officer and Practice Leader for Merger and Acquisition Advisory. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President and CFO at MicroFinancial Inc./TimePayment Corp from 2002 to 2015. Before that, they were the Vice President of Finance at Deutsche Financial Services, where they played a crucial role in the creation and development of a start-up equipment leasing and finance organization. James also worked as a Manager of Business Planning at AT&T Capital Corporation - Leasing Services and as a Finance Manager in the Real Estate Division at Signal Capital Corporation.
James Jackson attended Sanborn Regional High School from 1975 to 1979. James then went on to Hawthorne College from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business. Finally, James completed their education at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business from 1988 to 1992, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
