Chris Jensen MSc, EP currently serves as the Director of Strategic Planning and Policy at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs since April 2021 and has been an Executive Board Member of The Alpine Club of Canada since January 2012. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Planner at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing from July 2017 to April 2021 and various positions such as Senior Policy Analyst and Infrastructure Resource Officer at the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development from June 2004 to July 2017. Early career experience encompasses roles as a Geoscience Officer and Resource Management Specialist with the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and the BC Ministry of Forests, as well as Aquatic Resources Officer with the BC Ministry of Sustainable Resource Management. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Low Impact Development from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Royal Roads University, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and Physical Geography from the University of Victoria.
