Cybele Maylone is an experienced arts administrator currently serving as the Executive Director of The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum since September 2018. Prior to this role, Cybele held the position of Executive Director at UrbanGlass from May 2013 to August 2018 and worked as Deputy Director and Operations Director at apexart from August 2009 to May 2013. Cybele's extensive background includes positions at the New Museum of Contemporary Art as Associate Development Director for Individual Giving and Gala and Membership Manager, as well as roles in corporate relations at the American Museum of Natural History. Educationally, Cybele holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Earlham College.
