Dolly Jani has extensive work experience in the field of food safety and quality control. Dolly is currently serving as the Head of the Food Safety & Quality Control Lab at The Akshaya Patra Foundation since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Food & Water Technology from August 2021 to December 2021. Dolly also held the position of Project Program Coordinator at Nutrition International- Consumer Education & Research Centre from September 2019 to July 2021. Dolly's career in the industry began in 1995 when they joined the Consumer Education & Research Centre as a Senior Manager. During their time there, they handled various responsibilities such as planning and executing laboratory test projects, report preparation, communication with stakeholders, handling complaints, training staff, etc.
Dolly Jani holds a Ph.D. in Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy from the Central University of Gujarat, which they pursued starting in 2010. Prior to that, they completed an M.Sc. and M.Phil. in Agrochemicals from Delhi University between 1990 and 1995. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Nutrition & Health Education from Indira Gandhi National Open University, specializing in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies, without specifying any specific time frame. Lastly, Dolly Jani completed their Class 12 education in Materials Science at Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1978 to 1989.
