Catherine Gronkiewicz is an Analytics Software Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since August 2021, previously serving as an Analytics Software Intern in 2020. During the internship, Catherine developed a data ingestion pipeline using Apache NiFi and integrated a Palantir API for analytics within an Apache Kafka platform, and built microservices to assist astrodynamics experts in radar asset tasking. Other notable experiences include leadership roles at CPP sheCodes, undergraduate research focused on AI applications using CryptoNets and Keras/TensorFlow at Cal Poly Pomona, and internships involving machine learning and data anomaly detection at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 2021.
