Divya Mehrish has a comprehensive work experience in various fields, including finance, journalism, medicine, and education. Divya worked as a Sophomore Summer Analyst at Morgan Stanley in 2023. In 2021, they joined The Adroit Journal as a Content Intern, where they created original written content, conducted interviews with prominent writers, and curated, edited, and updated reviews of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Divya also served as an Associate Director of Content and a Content Editor at the same organization. Divya worked as a Consultant at Next Gen Admit in 2022 and as a Clinical Research Associate at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2021. Divya was also a Mentor & Tutor at Curious Cardinals in 2021. In 2022, they had roles at Bloomberg as part of the Discover Bloomberg: Data program, at The D. E. Shaw Group as a Fellow, at Business Today for the International Conference, and at Breakout Capital as a Research Intern. Additionally, Divya participated in the INSIGHT Program Trading Track at Jane Street in 2022.
Divya Mehrish completed their high school education at The Spence School from 2007 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma. In 2017, they attended Stanford University for their Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes. In 2018, they participated in the Pre-College Program at Harvard University, where they studied Speech Communication and Rhetoric. That same year, Divya also took part in the Sewanee Young Writers' Conference at The University of the South, the Kelly Writers House program at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio at the University of Iowa, all focusing on Creative Writing. In 2019, they attended both the Yale Young Global Scholars Program at Yale University, specializing in Politics, Law, and Economics, and the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop at Kenyon College, concentrating on Creative Writing. Divya is currently attending Stanford University as an undergraduate student, pursuing a degree without a specified field of study. Divya has also obtained additional certifications such as the PEN America: Free Speech Advocacy Institute from PEN America in November 2020 and the Modern and Contemporary American Poetry from the University of Pennsylvania in December 2018.
