David Acheson M.D. has a rich work experience in the field of food safety. David is currently serving as President and CEO of The Acheson Group, an independent spinoff of Leavitt Partners Global Food Safety Solutions. Prior to this, they worked at Leavitt Partners as a Partner and Managing Director, focusing on food and import safety. David also served as Associate Commissioner for foods at the FDA from 2002 to 2009. Throughout their career, they have been committed to ensuring operational efficiency, risk control, and compliance with regulations in the food industry.

David Acheson M.D. pursued their medical education from 1974 to 1980 at the University of London, focusing on Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
