Fred Floru has had two engineering positions in their career. Fred began their career in 1989 as a Design Engineer at Philips Research and then moved to THAT Corporation in 1991, where they held the role of Principal Engineer.

Fred Floru attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1982 to 1987, where they earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a focus on Semiconductors.
