Gary Thomas is an experienced telecommunications and IT professional with a robust background in supporting complex technology environments. Currently serving as the IaaS Network Connectivity Team Leader at Thames Valley Police since March 2021, Gary has previously held roles such as Voice Network Engineer and Telephony & Telecoms Support Analyst. With extensive experience at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., where responsibilities included leading telecom operations across Europe and Asia and achieving significant cost savings, Gary has developed expertise in project management, budgeting, and customer experience improvement. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in IT & Computing from The Open University and certifications in football coaching and mental health first aid.
