Serban Dinu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the field of testing and system management. Currently employed at Hitachi Rail since June 2024, Serban previously held significant roles at Thales from March 2008 to the present, including software engineer, test manager, and team leader, overseeing the Base Systems team responsible for testing the TAS Platform Core. This platform is integral to CENELEC SIL4 systems utilized globally in Thales Main Line Systems products. Prior experience includes software engineering positions at ITC Networks, focusing on testing Nortel routers, and network administration at Totalnet SA and Kappa/Astral. Serban holds a master's degree in communication protocols from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
