John Wiese has over 25 years of experience in the software and project management fields, currently serving as the Head of Software at Thales Australia since July 2003. Wiese has held various leadership roles at Thales Australia, including Head of ICT & Software, Project Director & Software Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Prior to this, Wiese worked at Australian Defence Industries from October 1999 to June 2003 as Engineering Manager and Commercial Manager. Wiese's career began at Thales, where the individual held the roles of Marketing & Bid Manager and Project Manager from January 1998 to September 1999. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Computer Science and Information Technology from The University of Western Australia, a Master of Project Management from the University of Adelaide, and a Diploma of Project Management from the University of Sydney.
