Jin Fan is a Principal SCM Engineer at Thales since September 2022, with a strong background in software configuration management and engineering. Prior experience includes serving as a Sr. Release Engineer at Nortek Control and as a Software CM/Test Engineer at Viasat Inc., where Jin Fan contributed to building software components for communication networks and managing software releases for in-flight entertainment systems. Previous roles include Sr. Software Protocol Test Engineer at HP, Sr. Software Engineer and CM Engineer at Sierra Wireless, and other engineering positions at Solekai Systems, Nokia, and Novellus Systems. Jin Fan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université Laval and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai University.
