Hussein Hafez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture and project management within the air traffic management domain. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Thales since September 2023, Hussein has previously held several key positions, including Technical Lead at Iress, Chief Software Architect at Thales for Land & Air Systems, and Enterprise Architect at Airservices Australia. With a robust background in engineering and project management, Hussein has managed significant projects focused on upgrading and integrating major air traffic management systems, and has played a critical role in the development of Java-based human-machine interfaces. Hussein holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Software Engineering from the University of Melbourne, as well as additional certifications in project management.
