Roberto Arena is a Structural Analysis & Environmental Testing Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since November 2013, specializing in mechanical analyses and environmental testing for various spacecraft, including the Sentinel-3A&3B and Meteosat Third Generation. Prior to this role, Roberto spent over a decade at GECI International, progressing from Senior Structural Engineer to Mechanical Analyses and Environmental Testing Manager, where responsibilities included mechanical testing for spacecraft like Herschel and Planck. Earlier experience includes system analysis at IDS Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., focused on reducing noise from rotor systems. Roberto holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Università di Pisa and furthered education through an ERASMUS program at ISAE-SUPAERO/ONERA. Advanced English language skills were developed at the EF Executive Language Institute.
