Captain Jate A. Muangkroot has extensive work experience, starting from 1993. Captain Jate A. began their career with Thai Airways International, where they held various positions, including Director of Flight Operations, Director of Corporate Safety and Quality Assurance & Captain (Airbus A380-800), Head of Fleet Treasury, and Director of Corporate Aviation Safety. In these roles, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, compiling safety reports, identifying and managing risks, promoting cooperation between departments, and providing training and resources for personnel development. Captain Muangkroot also served as an Airline Captain, planning and supervising flights, briefing the crew, making decisions, and filing trip reports. Captain Jate A. later worked at Star Alliance, where they served as the Chairman of the Star Alliance Safety Committee and contributed to establishing global aviation safety standards.

Captain Jate A. Muangkroot has a strong educational background in finance, marketing, and aviation. Captain Jate A. obtained an Executive MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2010. Captain Jate A. also completed an EMBA in Executive MBA, Finance and Marketing from the Sasin School of Management from 2009 to 2011. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Science and Associate of Science in Aeronautics-Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology, which they acquired from Saint Louis University from 1987 to 1991. Furthermore, they have an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
