Tess Burleson, CPA, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and President of TGen Health Ventures at TGen, a role held since March 2007. In addition, Tess has been a member of the Board of Directors for Salarius Pharmaceuticals since April 2019, where responsibilities include chairing the Governance & Nominating Committee and serving on the Audit Committee. Previous positions include Chief Financial Officer at the Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute from 1996 to 2007 and at Lovelace Health System from 1993 to 1996, as well as a Senior Associate in Audit & Tax at KPMG from 1989 to 1993. Educational achievements include completion of the Advanced Finance Program at The Wharton School in 2023, a Program on Negotiation from Harvard Division of Continuing Education, and an MBA in Finance from UNM Anderson School of Management in 1996.
